2024 IMTT State Championship @ Prairie Lake

The IMTT wrapped up its 2024 season with the State Championship Tournament this weekend. The anglers fished two days on Prairie Lake under bluebird skies and the muskies were not real interested in much of any baits that were thrown or trolled past them. Only one team managed to put a fish in the net during the tournament. The team of Duane Landmeier and Voctor Fox took home all of the event’s prizes with Duane’s 35″ fish caught late morning on Saturday. That fish also took home the Big Fish pot for the weekend. Congrats to Duan and Victor for their 2024 IMTT State Championship win.

The IMTT also awarded out all of our end of the year prizes following the end of the event on Sunday. Angler-of-the-Year went to Ron Haynes who finished the Trail with 54.75 points. Angler-of-the-Year Runner-up went to Tanner Boyle with 46.25 points. Team-of-the-Year went to Tanner Boyle and Robert Unzicker with 74.25 points. And the Big Fish for 2024 was caught by Jay Dunnett who landed a 41.25″ fish on Johnson Lake at our Banner Marsh event. That fish won Jay a $250 gift card to Bass Pro Shops.

We want to thank everyone who fished our Championship event and all those that donated to the local food pantry at our Saturday evening dinner. We also want to thank all anglers who fished events with us this year. For those who were unable to join us in 2024, please try to join us in 2025.
