On Saturday June 11th, the IMTT hosted the Mike Sule Memorial Tournament on the Fox Chain of Lakes. The muskies decided to mostly ignore what appeared to be favorable muskie catching conditions. There were a number of fish that came in to take a peek at a lure and a big fish missed on a boatside strike. Of the participating anglers, only one boat managed to land a fish and took home the prize money from the event. The winning team of Tanner Boyle (31″) and Robert Unzicker landed their fish with less than an hour to go in the tournament. Tanner then also won the big fish pot with the only catch for the event.
We want to thank Kurt at Musky Tales for being an amazing host as always.
The IMTT is now on its summer break and will return to the water on October 1st on Lake McMaster. Then we hit Prairie Lake on October 22nd & 23rd and finish out the year with the State Championship on Kinkaid November 5th & 6th.
