2020 Gregg Tichacek Memorial Tournament @ Lake McMaster
The IMTT’s second tournament of the year, the Gregg Tichacek Memorial on Lake McMaster, happened this past Saturday, September 19th. 24 anglers faced cold morning temperatures and bright blue skies all day long. Those anglers who had success, found netted their fish early, and then it was tough to see any fish throughout the middle of the day. There were 3 fish boated for the tournament. First place went to Bob Taylor who had the hot bait and boated two separate 45.25” fish approximately an hour apart and his partner Gary Handlin. Second place went to the only other fish of the day, which was a 36” fish caught by Jim Beaty, partner James Dingus.
We would like to thank everyone who came out for our event and helped to support the IMTT.
Our next tournament is just under two weeks away, October 3rd & 4th on Lake Kinkaid. We have plenty of spots available. Please consider coming out to join us at this event, Kinkaid is a great October lake.
Beyond that, there is the Quad County Hawg Hunters tournament on Lake Shelbyville October 10th & 11th. The Shawnee Muskie Hunters Fall Brawl on Lake Kinkaid is October 17th & 18th. And then the IMTT State Championship will be the last full weekend of October (24th & 25th) on Prairie Lake.
