2019 Mike Sule Memorial @ Fox Chain of Lakes
The IMTT Mike Sule Memorial Tournament was held last weekend at the Fox Chain of Lakes. 20 entrants faced challenging conditions on both days of the event as tournament hours were suspended twice on Saturday due to inclement weather. Fishing Sunday was challenging as well due to post frontal conditions and bluebird skies. During the event, three teams managed to register four fish over the required 30 inch minimum.
In 1st place was Ron Haynes (33″) of Wheaton IL & Phil Gutmann (30″) of Lake In The Hills IL.
2nd place went to Eric Vizanko (31″) of Wonder Lake IL & Paul Heideman of Wonder Lake IL.
3rd place went to Robbie Wilke IV (30″) of Plainfield IL & Jim Petrella of Chicago IL.
The BIG FISH of the tournament went to Ron Haynes with his 33″ Muskie.
THANK YOU to Kurt Eltvelt and MUSKY TALES in Antioch IL for your generous donation of a Lakewood Tackle Box for the IMTT raffle on Saturday night, breakfasts, dinner and acting as Tournament Central for this event.
