IMTT Making It Happen in 2008
IMTT Meeting Its Goals....and Proud
Project Green Genes Update October 16th of this year a call was put out by Ray Thompson, chairman of the IMA, for donations to help fund the ongoing Project Green Gene. The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources could not make their annual donation of Mississippi strain muskies this year so the call went out as now the project needed that strain fish to keep it viable. Bob Kerans forwarded the donation request to LSMC board members for a quick vote. In short order the LSMC decided to donate $ 500.00 for this worthy cause.
Along with donations from other clubs, IMTT, the IMA itself, and Muskies Inc. a total of $ 9000.00 was sent to project coordinator Curt Wagner. Last Friday Curt and crew stocked all three of the study lakes with approximately 250 12" fingerlings who now swim happily ever after. View the pictures of the stocking. IMA Press Release 2007
